So we left the beauty of the Alps and headed south in search of heat - but alas it seems the whole of Europe is cold at this time of year! We are going to come back very pale!
Anyhow, we are now is Assisi at our final week of timeshare, thanks again Mom and Dad. Assisi is a quaint although touristy village on the slopes of the mountain. An amazing place, old and rustic with city walls and gates and packed with churches and monasteries. It has been remarkable to see history first-hand and the work of St Francis of Assisi - very challenging for us today.
We have spent lots of time walking, playing tennis and chatting (yes there still are things to talk about)
Looking forward to seeing the team in SA in a month!

Looks like you three are having a fabulous time! We haven't been to Assisi yet...on our plans when we travel through Europe:-) When do you get back to SA? We only have one week left of our 'Round the world' trip. We are currently in Florida and flying out next week from Miami. We are spending December in SA with our families and then back to the UK and work. Really excited for you for this new season. You are going to make fantastic parents.
Hope to catch up again some day.
